Artists were asked if they'd be willing to create a piece of artwork in their favored medium in response to a poem that they had never previously seen.
So many responded that the number had to be pared to fifty.
This is a delightful and thought-provoking exhibition.

California Art Club: The Beauty of the Story

Each season, the Art Club chooses a limited number of paintings submitted to a competition to be included in a three month themed exhibition. "The Beauty of the Story" is the fifth such online show.
My pastel, "Family Fun on the Russian River" shows the delight of rounding the bend on this Northern California River to find a
row of colorful umbrellas and happy families on the riverbank.
