April is turning out to be an exciting and busy month for me, and I'd love it if you could join me for at least some of these great art events.
First, I'd like to invite you to the Graton Gallery's 9th Invitational Exhibition. The show opens with a reception on April 7 from 2 to 5 p.m., and it continues through May 6. You'll be treated to a rich array of artworks of many kinds and styles, including my oil painting called Delta Reflections.
Also on the evening of April 7, from 6 to 9 p.m., is Pick of the Vine, a premier wine, beer, food, and art event that benefits Senior Advocacy Services. I truly believe in this worthy cause, and I'm thrilled to contribute one of my paintings to this fun and exciting annual auction. (Click here to read about the painting I created for this year's event.) Please come out and support us!
The very next day, on April 8, I'll be doing a demo at the Los Gatos Art Association from 1 to 3 p.m. The theme of my presentation is "From Plein Air to Studio," and I'll be showing LGAA members how I work on location and later translate those plein-air paintings into larger studio works.
And late in the month, I'll be participating in a group exhibition sponsored by the prestigious California Art Club called Art Between the Lines. Appearing at the Peninsula Museum of Art in Burlingame, the exhibit, which will feature artwork by dozens of noted artists, opens on April 29 and continues through July 8. You're welcome to come to the opening reception on April 29 from 2 to 4 p.m., or stop by the museum to see the show whenever you can!
Thanks, as always, for your continued interest in and support of my artwork. Please visit my website anytime, and please forward this newsletter along to any of your friends who love art!
