Twilight, Pacific Grove, oil, 18 x 36
This just in! I'll be exhibiting a selection of pastel and oil
paintings at My Daughter the Framer
, a framing boutique inside
Corrick's Stationers & Gift Shop in Santa Rosa throughout July and
August. If you missed the first reception, no worries. There'll be a
second reception on August 3 from 5 to 7 p.m. Hope you can see the show!

At the Marin County Fair
This newest show is just the latest in a number of exhibition
opportunities I've had this summer. Among other things, I participated
in the Marin County Fair, and won two awards for my pastel and oil
paintings. What a thrill!

At Marinscapes
I'm also happy to announce that quite a few of my pieces sold at the
Marinscapes show, which is a fundraiser for the Buckelew Foundation.
Thank you for supporting this worthy cause.

it is realizing one's sensations."

Want to Improve Your Painting Skills?
As much as I love painting and exhibiting my work, I also love
teaching. It's so amazing to share this passion with fellow artists. So
if you've been thinking about brushing up on your painting skills or
perhaps giving it a try for the first time, please consider taking a
workshop with me. Most of my plein-air and studio workshops last a
single day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. I usually do an informative demo, then
give you the rest of the day for hands-on experience and one-on-one
instruction. I even include some healthy snacks! Learn more by visiting
my website's workshop page.
Thanks, as always, for your support and interest in my artwork. Please
feel free to share this newsletter with other art enthusiasts!
