Maybe it's a flashback to my childhood, but I always think of early September as an ideal time to start learning something new. If learning to paint is something you've always wanted to do, maybe this autumn is the perfect time to embark on a new journey or to continue on your path by brushing up on your artistic skills.
From my beautiful straw bale studio in Sonoma County, I'll be giving a number of one-day plein-air and studio workshops that run from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. I usually kick off the day with an informative demo, then give you the rest of the time for hands-on experience and one-on-one instruction. Some workshops are only for pastels, while others encompass all painting mediums. I even include some healthy snacks. Most students tell me these quick workshops are just the dose of motivation and inspiration they need.
Or, if you'd prefer to have art instruction tailored to your specific needs, I'm happy to schedule one or more private sessions. To see a complete listing of opportunities, click here to visit my website's workshop page.
