I'm doing quite a bit of teaching in the months ahead, and I wanted to invite you to two of these events in particular. The first is the Plein Air Convention & Expo in San Francisco on April 24 to 28. This event just keeps getting bigger and better every year, and I'm really looking forward to my demo on Thursday morning. I've got a very special program lined up--I'll be explaining how well the pastel medium lends itself to revising and reworking plein-air paintings.
Then, on May 11, I'll be giving a demo at Stafford Lake Regional Park in Novato. This free demo, sponsored by the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association, will wrap up about noon, so I hope you'll stick around for an afternoon of plein-air painting. It's a huge park with plenty of fantastic, inspiring subjects to choose from. Please RSVP with the LPAPA folks so that we know how many people to expect. Even if you're not an artist, please join us for the morning!
