While we're on the subject of exhibitions, I'm also participating in a show called "Bay Area Parks: Outdoor Treasures," sponsored by the California Art Club and featuring works by about 50 artists. I love the theme of this show and completely agree that our parks truly are gems! You can celebrate the bay area parks by coming out to the show between June 14 and July 20 at the Harrington Gallery in Pleasanton, California. Lately, I've been thinking about the all-important, watershed moments of our lives--the times that shape a person's future. That's what inspired my latest blog post about my year abroad in Barcelona, Spain. I went when I was just 17, and it completely changed my life, opening my eyes to a whole new world I'd never even imagined. That year helped mold me into the artist I am today.
