It's time for a summer classic! I'll be showcasing a couple of new pastels and oils at the Marin County Fair Art Show in San Rafael, which will be on view from July 3 through 7. If you're in the neighborhood, please stop by the fair to enjoy the art exhibit.

Just a quick reminder about two upcoming plein-air painting workshops I'll be holding in Sonoma County. The first will be held on my property in Cotati on July 17. The one-day workshop will kick off with a plein-air demo, and then you'll have the rest of the day to paint gardens, vistas, statuary, or whatever strikes your fancy. I offer plenty of one-on-one instruction, and snacks are included in the $100 fee. The second workshop will follow the same format, and it will be held somewhere nearby on August 21. There are so many fantastic options that I haven't been able to decide which location to choose yet. Please plan to join me for a great plein-air painting experience in Sonoma County.
