I am so excited to share my latest collection of work called Mitchell Leafscapes--oil paintings done with metal leaf, giving them a mesmerizing shimmer. And the best way for you to see them is to stop by my studio during the Sonoma County Art Trails open studio tour starting this weekend, October 12 and 13, and continuing on October 19 and 20. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

My straw bale studio is just one of many places on the art tour where you can see artists making art in their studios. It's a beautiful time of year, and I can't think of a better way to spend a day than driving through the stunning Sonoma County wine country, enjoying all kinds of art.
