June is shaping up to be an exciting month with plenty of art exhibits for you to attend. For instance, I'll be showing quite a few oil and pastel paintings, like Bennett Valley North, at the Graton Gallery in Graton, CA. The exhibit runs through July 9th.
I'm also proud to have two of my pastel paintings, Morning Moon and Deceptive Beauty, included in the 13th Annual Best of Plein Air Show sponsored by the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association. This is always a beautiful exhibition of plein-air works in a wide range of styles, so please visit the Forest and Ocean Gallery in Laguna Beach, CA, from June 5th to July 3rd. If you're in the area, there will be an opening reception on June 10th from 5 to 8 p.m.
And, of course, it's always a thrill to be selected for a show of your peers! The International Association of Pastel Societies is holding its annual convention for pastel artists in Old Town Albuquerque this week, from June 6th to 11th. They always host a group show, and I'm honored to have my work included in the 30th Juried Exhibition.
