A beautiful, cloud-filled sky in evening light was the inspiration for this pastel landscape painting. It was selected by the California Art Club to appear in the Reflection in Water group exhibition at St Mary's College Museum of Art. Hard to go wrong with those oranges and lavenders!
I intentionally left the sky rough to cut the overall sweetness of the scene.
