Napa Valley Sunset

This lush vineyard oil shows the best of the world-renowned Napa Valley wine region, Northern California.  

In the autumn, grapevines turn rich and varied colors. This scene was inspired by the majestic old oak trees the border vineyards backing up to the majestic and craggy Palisades near Calistoga.

I painted soft fog coming in over the warm copper sky. On lucky nights, atmosphere from the coast spills over mountains to the west and cools inland valleys. There are also swatches of copper in the vines below that catch any ambient light in the room where you'll display this beautiful canvas.
